A little piece of Japanese Sanrio magic!
Meet the adorable Wish Me Mell, the sweet white bunny from Sanrio's enchanting world of friendship and kindness, beautifully brought to life in this authentic Japanese Chokkori-san Sitting Plush by Takara Tomy Arts.
Originally released in Japan in October 2022, this charming collectible belongs to the much-loved Chokkori-san series, a collection of miniature plush characters specially designed to sit neatly on the edges of shelves, desks and display surfaces.
The name Chokkori-san reflects the idea of sitting or perching somewhere in a cute, understated way. Unlike traditional plush toys, these specially designed little companions are perfect for collectors who enjoy creating imaginative displays and adorable character photography.
A Beautifully Detailed Sanrio Collectible
Wish Me Mell is instantly recognisable by her wonderfully long white bunny ears, decorated with delicate pink polka-dot fabric. Her sweet embroidered brown eyes, rosy pink cheeks, tiny yellow nose and gentle smile give her an irresistible expression.
Around her neck sits a fluffy pink scarf, adding a lovely splash of colour against her soft white fur.
But perhaps her most delightful feature is hidden at the back — a gorgeous pastel rainbow tail, featuring soft shades of lavender, baby blue and pale yellow.
With her little paws resting together and her legs designed to dangle over an edge, Wish Me Mell looks particularly adorable sitting on a bookshelf or beside your favourite Sanrio collectibles.
A Special Japanese Release
Created by Takara Tomy Arts, one of Japan's established collectible toy manufacturers, this officially licensed Sanrio plush was originally introduced in 2022.
Wish Me Mell is a particularly charming addition to any Sanrio collection, especially for enthusiasts looking beyond the familiar Hello Kitty, My Melody and Kuromi characters.
Whether displayed alongside other Japanese plush collectibles or given as a thoughtful gift to a Sanrio admirer, this delightful little bunny brings a touch of Japanese kawaii charm wherever she sits.
