FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to MM Collectibles. We specialise in carefully selected collectables, blind boxes, plush, figures, dolls and harder-to-find pieces from brands including Pop Mart, Sekiguchi, 52TOYS, Mattel and more.

If you cannot find the answer you need below, please get in touch before ordering.

Are your products authentic?

Where an item is listed as an official branded collectible, it is sold as an authentic product from the stated brand or manufacturer.

If an item is unofficial, unlicensed or inspired by a character or brand, this will be made clear in the product description.

Are all items brand new?

Most products are brand new unless the listing clearly states otherwise.

Some rare, vintage, discontinued or collector-owned items may have been opened, displayed or previously owned. Any known condition details will be included in the individual product description.

For collectables, the outer packaging is also part of the item, so we aim to describe any noticeable box wear, marks, dents or damage where applicable.

Are blind boxes sealed?

Unless the listing states that the character has been confirmed, blind boxes are supplied sealed and the character inside is unknown.

Some blind box products are opened only to identify the character. If this is the case, the listing will clearly state that the figure is confirmed or opened for identification.

Can I return an opened blind box?

Opened blind boxes, opened sealed collectables or products where the factory packaging has been removed may not be eligible for return simply because you do not like the character received.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Please see our Returns Policy for full details.

Do you sell rare or discontinued items?

Yes. MM Collectibles regularly stocks limited editions, older releases, retired products and difficult-to-find collectables alongside current releases.

Some items may only be available once and may not be restocked.

Will sold-out items come back into stock?

Sometimes, but not always.

Many of our products are limited, discontinued or difficult to source, so we cannot guarantee that a sold-out item will return.

Can you reserve an item for me?

Items are generally sold on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot usually be reserved without payment.

Do you offer pre-orders?

Yes, selected products may be available to pre-order.

Estimated release or dispatch dates will be shown on the product page where possible. Manufacturer and supplier release dates can occasionally change, so pre-order dates should be treated as estimates rather than guaranteed dates.

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order products, they may be dispatched together once the pre-order item becomes available unless otherwise stated.

When will my order be dispatched?

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible.

Dispatch times may vary during busy periods, weekends, bank holidays or where an item is marked as a pre-order.

Tracking information will be provided where the selected delivery service includes tracking.

How much is UK delivery?

UK delivery charges are shown at checkout and depend on the shipping service available for your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship to a range of international destinations.

Available shipping options and costs will be shown at checkout.

International delivery times can vary depending on the destination, local postal services and customs processing.

Will I have to pay customs or import charges?

Possibly.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, local taxes, brokerage charges or carrier handling fees imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge paid to MM Collectibles unless specifically stated otherwise.

Any customs duties, import VAT or associated charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

We recommend checking your country's import rules before placing an order if you are unsure.

What happens if I refuse to pay customs charges?

If an international parcel is refused, unclaimed or returned to us because customs duties, import VAT or other destination-country charges were not paid, any refund will be handled in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy.

Original shipping costs and any return charges incurred may not be refundable where permitted by law.

Can you mark my parcel as a gift or declare a lower value?

No.

We must complete customs declarations accurately and cannot deliberately undervalue goods or falsely declare commercial orders as gifts.

How long does international delivery take?

Delivery times vary by country and service.

Customs clearance can sometimes cause delays after a parcel reaches the destination country. Unfortunately, customs processing is outside our control.

Will my international parcel have tracking?

Where possible, we use tracked international services.

The exact service available will be shown at checkout or confirmed when your order is dispatched.

What if my parcel arrives damaged?

Please contact us as soon as possible and include clear photographs of:

  • the damaged item
  • the outer packaging
  • the shipping label
  • any internal packaging
  • any visible damage to the box or parcel

Please keep all packaging until the issue has been resolved, as the delivery company may require photographs or inspection as part of a claim.

What if my order is missing an item?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and details of what is missing.

We will check the order and help resolve the issue.

Can I cancel my order?

If your order has not yet been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot normally be cancelled and would instead need to be dealt with under our Returns Policy.

Different rules may apply to pre-orders or personalised items where stated.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, eligible returns are accepted in accordance with our Returns Policy and your statutory consumer rights.

Please check our full Returns and Refund Policy for return timescales, exclusions and instructions before sending anything back.

Are product photographs always of the exact item I will receive?

For many products, photographs are representative of the item being sold.

For rare, vintage, opened or individually photographed collectables, the photographs may show the actual item you will receive.

Please read the individual product description carefully.

Why might packaging differ slightly from the photographs?

Manufacturers occasionally update packaging, labels, stickers, barcodes or production details between batches.

Small packaging variations can therefore occur without the product being a different release.

Are colours exactly the same as the photographs?

We make every effort to represent products accurately.

However, colours can appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, your screen settings and minor manufacturer production variations.

Are measurements exact?

Measurements are approximate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Small differences can occur due to manufacturing tolerances or the way an item is measured.

Do collectables sometimes have minor manufacturing marks?

Yes.

Mass-produced collectables can occasionally have very small paint variations, mould marks, stitching differences, glue marks or other minor factory imperfections.

These are not necessarily considered faults unless they materially affect the product.

Any significant known damage or defects will be stated in the listing where applicable.

Can I ask for more information before buying?

Absolutely.

If you would like additional information about a particular item, please contact us before placing your order.

We would much rather answer a question before purchase than have you unsure about an item afterwards.

How can I contact MM Collectibles?

You can contact us using the contact details or contact form on our website.

Please include your order number if your enquiry relates to an existing order.
