A beautifully illustrated Japanese-style notebook from the MUROO × Shanmao 悠居山猫记 collection, featuring an adorable sleepy cat relaxing beneath clouds of pink cherry blossom.
The wraparound artwork is packed with charming details inspired by traditional Japanese scenery, including tiled rooftops, a waterside garden and falling sakura petals. A soft blue-grey magnetic clasp keeps the notebook securely closed and complements the muted pastel artwork beautifully.
Inside, this is far more decorative than an ordinary notebook. The 224 pages feature a variety of full-colour illustrated layouts, with cats, cherry blossom, traditional buildings and other Japanese-inspired scenes appearing throughout.
The cover lettering includes references to cherry blossom and 山猫 (Shanmao / Mountain Cat), which is the recurring cat theme of the collection.
