Meet The TOMODACHI! – Japan's wonderfully weird little friends!
Colourful, quirky and bursting with personality, The TOMODACHI! are back for their third miniature figure collection!
Straight from Japan comes an irresistibly unusual collection of miniature designer figures, created by renowned Japanese collectible manufacturer Ken Elephant, based on the imaginative artwork of Japanese plush artist SIO (シオ).
The TOMODACHI! began as a world of eccentric handmade plush characters, each with their own distinctive appearance, personality and wonderfully strange sense of humour.
Now, Ken Elephant has transformed these imaginative creations into miniature collectibles, faithfully capturing their playful designs, bright colours and unmistakable charm.
And there's something particularly special about them...
They're fuzzy!
Unlike traditional smooth plastic figures, every character features a beautifully tactile flocked finish, giving them a soft, velvety texture inspired by SIO's original plush artwork.
The result is a collection that feels wonderfully different from your average miniature figure.
Meet the four characters!
There are four delightfully eccentric friends to discover in Volume 3:
💜 MC Tomodachi – The Purple Presenter
Dressed for the spotlight with a turquoise bow tie and microphone in hand, this little purple character is ready to entertain! With a wonderfully serious expression and an unmistakable stage presence, MC Tomodachi is the star of their own imaginary show.
💙 Potato Addict Tomodachi – The Blue French Fry Fanatic
An absolute must for lovers of quirky Japanese design! This bright blue character takes its obsession with French fries to a completely different level, sporting miniature fries on its head and hands. Bold, colourful and gloriously ridiculous!
💚 Paper Bag Tomodachi – The Mysterious Green Friend
Why wear an ordinary hat when you can wear a paper bag? This vibrant lime-green character has chosen the ultimate disguise: a little brown paper bag with two curious eyes peeking through. Wonderfully strange, brilliantly simple and full of personality.
🩶 Shampoo Hat Tomodachi – The Grey Bath-Time Companion
Complete with a cheerful pink shampoo hat and white wrap, this soft grey character brings a little bath-time humour to the collection. Its wonderfully peculiar outfit makes it one of the most distinctive designs in the series.
From Japanese plush art to miniature collectibles
The TOMODACHI! collection originates from the creative imagination of Japanese plush artist SIO, whose unusual characters celebrate the wonderfully ordinary and occasionally absurd moments of everyday life.
Rather than conventional cartoon characters, these little friends have their own distinctive visual identities, with simple facial expressions, colourful bodies and unexpected accessories.
Ken Elephant, a Japanese manufacturer celebrated for its imaginative miniature collectibles, has faithfully recreated these characters as pocket-sized designer figures.
Volume 3 was originally released in Japan in October 2025, continuing the popular TOMODACHI! miniature collection.
With their eye-catching colours, tactile flocked surfaces and distinctive Japanese artist origins, these figures are delightful additions to any kawaii, miniature or designer-toy collection.
A little Japanese personality for your collection!
Perfect for displaying on desks, shelves, bookcases or alongside your favourite Japanese collectibles, these miniature characters bring a wonderfully unexpected splash of colour and humour wherever they go.
Whether you're a collector of Japanese designer toys, a fan of unusual kawaii creations or simply someone who appreciates things that are a little bit different, The TOMODACHI! are difficult to resist.
Four wonderfully weird friends. Four completely different personalities. Which TOMODACHI! will you discover?
