First released on 28 March 2026, this exclusive pastel edition made its debut at AnimeJapan 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight.
Unlike the regular collection released later in July 2026, this special advance edition featured a single Ultraman-inspired Mofusand cat in an exclusive pastel colourway.
With its soft white costume, delicate peach-pink detailing, matching hanging strap, sparkling blue eyes and adorable pink paw pads, this version offers a distinctive alternative to Ultraman's traditional red colouring.
A Japanese Release That Sold Out Remarkably Quickly
The original release was offered through selected Japanese sales channels, including the AnimeJapan 2026 event and the official Tsuburaya Store Online.
According to Tsuburaya Fields Holdings' own corporate report:
- The special edition sold out during the two-day AnimeJapan 2026 event.
- Stock at the official Tsuburaya online store sold out in just 46 minutes.
- A further purchasing opportunity was offered through an official Japanese lottery system in July 2026.
The lottery required customers to apply for the opportunity to purchase, with successful applicants restricted to one plush each.
This wasn't a product originally distributed through ordinary international toy retailers. It was introduced through selected Japanese channels, making it a particularly interesting piece for collectors outside Japan.
Two Iconic Japanese Names, One Adorable Collaboration
