A very special piece of Barbie collecting history.
This Barbie Swings in London doll was produced for the Barbie Collector Club of Great Britain event held on 6 April 1997 and is individually numbered 137 of just 140 produced.
Inspired by the bold fashion and energy of 1960s London, Barbie comes dressed in a striking white mod-style outfit with blue detailing, matching long white boots, blonde hair with red accents, dramatic blue eye make-up and red lips.
The presentation box is equally distinctive, featuring a bright red Carnaby Street design with Union Jack artwork and blue silhouette graphics.

The doll remains presented in her original box. The box shows some age-related wear, including light marks, scuffs and wear to the edges/corners, as shown in the photographs.

With only 140 examples produced, this is a particularly scarce Barbie and a wonderful piece for an established Barbie collection, especially for collectors of UK exclusives, convention dolls and unusual limited editions.
